Default New software - Exploras and DStv HD Decoders

Hi all

We’re updating the software on our DStv Exploras and DStv HD Decoders (single view HD) this week.

Some of the things we’re fixing are below:

• Recently Watched List Fix for Catch Up
o Your Recently Watched List on Catch Up will not be deleted after a reboot

• Showmax Sign Out Fix
o You will no longer automatically be signed out of Showmax

• This software release also has changes that are background fixes.

Thanks

I'd appreciate MC doing something about the overall sluggishness of the Explora2. I picked one up this weekend past and I'm really disappointed in the speed of this unit. The Pace 2P runs rings around it in this regard

@Luke777 please advise in more detail what patch levels you are referring to? Or do you perhaps mean Loader versions?

He'll definitely mean that.
Besides helping us determine what we have, we always need it included for helping some others with their technical enquiries on a regular basis.

Explora 1
Explora 2A
4136 - for each model if different
4137 - for each model if different

Many thanks.

Also, are there any other forum-known bugs being fixed, or even improved with this build?

Seems to be an on and off thing, with the Explora 1 anyway... Explora RCU response poor again

I think they thought you may be referring to the "var"iant - usually "/2", which one presumes is the general public-use and staff release.

(e.g. The current one being replaced on Explora 1 is ver/var: 81/2)
